Mt.Fuji is the icon of Japan known in worldwide because of its graceful form.
Mt.Fuji is an active volcano rises to an elavation of 3,776 meters, making it Japan’s highest mountain. It emerged about 100,000 years ago then got its current, attractively conical shape through the repeated eruptions.
As people have been fearing its violent erruption as signs of devine anger, they have long viewed the mountain as inhabited by deities and as an object of religious faith and worship because of that.
Having had such a profound impact on Japanese culture, art, and religion, it was added to the World Heritage List as a caultural site in 2013.
While Mt.Fuji has splendid changes according to various factors, the sun position, wheather conditions, which season, when and from where it’s viewed. All its countenances are deeply captivating. Of all the world’s spectacular sights, it must truly be a wonder among wonders.
