“Sabi” is the word for beaty on outlook. The thing of the world can get rusted, dirty, deformed, lost by ages. Generally it is considered as degradation. On the other hand, its unique beauty created by the various changes is called “Sabi”.
“Wabi” is the word for the possitive mind to accept the rust, dirt, deformation then enjoy. So, the mind to figure out the beauty of “Sabi” is “Wabi”.
“Sabi” means the beauty on the outside and “Wabi” means the richness of the inside. As the word “Wabi-Sabi” has the sense of values at both sides, “Wabi” and “Sabi” are used usually at the same time.
In Japanese tea ceremony “Sadou (茶道)”, tea master makes tea according to the Japanese traditional method and serve it to customer. The method consists of not only making tea, but also seating, drinking, standing, thanking, walking, etc.
